Goodwin Serving as Department Head Until 2021

Dr. Barry Goodwin has agreed to continue to serve in the role of interim Department Head of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics until a permanent replacement is identified.  Beginning in summer 2020, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will initiate a competitive national search with the goal of appointing a new Department Head by July 1, 2021.  Barry will continue to lead the Department during this interim period.

Barry is William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor and Graduate Alumni Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Economics. He is also a 2018 Holladay Medal recipient. Barry has held faculty positions at Kansas State University and The Ohio State University. His research and teaching activities are focused on applied economics, policy, trade, and econometrics.
