On February 12, 2024, the Spring class of Agricultural Institute students was inducted into the esteemed Delta Tau Alpha Honor Society, advised by ARE Senior Lecturer Jonathan Phillips.
A highlight of the evening was the keynote address delivered by NC House Representative Jeff Zenger of Forsyth County. Zenger shared words of wisdom with the newly initiated members, emphasizing the significance of lifelong learning and dedication to excellence.
After this induction, Delta Tau Alpha membership at NC State is now up to thirty-six Agricultural Institute students. This national agricultural honor society, dedicated to fostering academic scholarship and community service, extends invitations to second-year students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement with a GPA above 3.0.
