William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor Emeritus Mike Walden recently signed an agreement with the University of North Carolina Press to author a new book examining the future of North Carolina’s economy in the post-COVID era. The upcoming book, titled “North Carolina in the Anxious Age,” will build on Walden’s extensive work analyzing the state’s economic landscape.
This publication will follow his previous two books with UNC Press, “North Carolina in the Connected Age” and “North Carolina Beyond the Connected Age,” both of which also focused on the economic developments and challenges within the state.
