Guido van der Hoeven Elected to Represent the United States by the International Farm Management Association

During the International Farm Management Association’s (IFMA) 21st Congress in Edinburgh, Scotland, Guido van der Hoeven was elected, by the USA delegation, to represent the United States on the Executive Council of IFMA. The 21st Congress, which was held from July 2-7, 2017 at the John McIntyre Conference Centre at the University of Edinburgh, attracted nearly 330 delegates from over 30 countries. The objective of these Congresses are to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and expertise through presentations and demonstrations that center on the agriculture of the hosting country. They also serve as a networking opportunity for farmers, teachers, advisors, researchers, policy-makers and agribusiness at national and international levels.
