Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist Daniel Tregeagle and his coauthors received the Specialty Crops Economics Section award for “Outstanding Published Paper which Significantly Contributed to the SCE Discipline” at the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Meeting held last month. Their paper, “Estimating Perennial Crop Supply Response: A Methodology Literature Review,” provides the first literature review in over 30 years on perennial crop supply response modeling, highlighting advancements, trade-offs and future research opportunities.
Tregeagle was also recently elected as the chair of the AAEA Specialty Crops Economics Section, for which he will serve three years on the executive committee and help organize programming.
Congratulations, Daniel!
