Kathryn Boys Selected as a 2024-25 Faculty Fellow
The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, in partnership with the Office for Faculty Excellence, has selected the 2024-25 Provost’s Faculty Fellows. We are proud to announce that ARE Associate Professor Kathryn Boys was chosen to participate in the program as part of the Global Leadership Track.
The Provost’s Faculty Fellows Program allows talented faculty to explore academic leadership roles at the university’s highest levels. Throughout the 2024-25 academic year, Boys will participate in the cohort-based training program structured around strategy, leadership and cultural competence.
As a fellow in the Global Leadership Track, Boys will be assigned a project developed by the Office of Global Engagement and will work to address a broad theme or issue relating to global academic leadership, with the intent of presenting her findings and recommendations to Provost Arden and other senior leaders at the end of the fellowship. Over spring break, Boys will also travel to the campus of an NCSU strategic international partner university for a visit centered on best practices in administrative leadership in global affairs.
This opportunity highlights Boys’ commitment to global leadership and her contributions to NC State’s pursuit of academic excellence and international collaboration.
Congratulations, Kathryn!
