The NC FFA Convention held their 90th annual meeting from June 19-21 at the Raleigh Convention Center. Every year thousands of high school students meet to celebrate agricultural education.
This year ARE was represented at the Career Show and Expo by student services assistant Taylor Knittel who communicated with FFA advisers and students about opportunities in agricultural business management. At the ARE booth, students played a trivia game where correct answers to questions about NC agriculture allowed them to putt for prizes.
The convention allows students to participate in leadership workshops, recognize the accomplishments of their fellow FFA members, hear from NC FFA sponsors, build networks with other students and industry representatives and build job skills by practicing job interviews and public speaking.
