Undergrad Students Present Food Research

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics was well represented at this year’s Spring Undergraduate Research Symposium. This annual event is held in April and featured research posters by three students working with ARE faculty. Leah Jamison and Doha Medani, mentored by Dr. Kathryn Boys, presented research examining Organic Ingredient Markets and School Wellness  Policies, respectively. Under the direction of Dr. Julianne Treme, Kelsie Wright presented an analysis of the allocation of SNAP benefits.
