In the spring issue of NC State Economist, Eric Edwards and Sara Sutherland review their research supporting the impact of North Carolina’s wild-caught commercial seafood industry. They explore their use of an economic impact analysis (EIA) tool to reveal the economic importance of wild-caught commercial seafood by region and type from the port through its distribution across North Carolina.
