Students can access career resources at\u00a0go.ncsu.edu\/calscareers and sign up for appointments<\/span>\u00a0with the CALS Career Services team at <a href=\"https:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/epack\">go.ncsu.edu\/epack<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sara grew up on a dairy farm in Caswell County, North Carolina, and majored in agricultural business management and agricultural extension at NC&#160;State. She earned a master&#8217;s in journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in higher education leadership at NC&#160;State.<\/p>\n<p>Sara worked as a journalist for nine years, primarily at CNN, and then served in the Peace Corps in Malawi (southern Africa) before becoming a career counselor at the Wake Forest University School of Business. She has been in her current CALS role since 2015.
