My name is Bryson Jacobs, and I am member of the The Ohio State University CVM Class of 2026. I am from Greenville, North Carolina and graduated with my B.S. in Animal Science from NCSU in May 2022. I also had minors in Nutrition and Health, Medicine, and Human Values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I plan to pursue a career in food animal medicine, primarily working with dairy and beef cattle. I also have interests in theriogenology, epidemiology, and equine GP. During my undergraduate studies at NC State, I discovered my passion for animal agriculture by working at the NCSU Animal Education Units and showing livestock with the Animal Science Club. These experiences allowed me to gain more hands-on skills with animal husbandry and management in addition to herd medicine. Additionally, I loved participating in undergraduate research in numerous labs within the Department of Animal Science. I was able to broaden my scientific knowledge of domestic animals while also connecting with various professionals within CALS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
