Since 2011, this camp has educated students about careers in veterinary medicine and the various opportunities within the field. This rate includes lab materials, camper shirts\/binders\/backpacks\/ VetPAC Water Bottle, transportation, program materials, evening activity supplies and catered lunches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Option 2: Overnight Campers*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Overnight camper rates include the base rate of<strong> $750.00<\/strong>. Final decisions regarding acceptance will be sent on<strong> May 4th by 5pm EST<\/strong> via email to the <strong>primary parent\/guardian email<\/strong> provided in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VetCAMP conducts a holistic review of all applications and does not make final decisions until after <strong>ALL<\/strong> applications have been received on April 6th. Applicants can expect final decisions to be sent to all invited, wait-listed, and declined participants on <strong>May 4th by 5pm EST.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Typically, a maximum of 5 candidates per week are wait listed. In this case, we will contact you by <strong>May 20th at 5pm EST<\/strong> in regards to a final decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be eligible for this program, all of the following conditions must be met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have previously attended in-person VetCAMP are NOT eligible to apply for in-person VetCAMP. <em>*Students may still apply to Virtual VetCAMP*<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student must be a U.S or U.S Territories Resident.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student must be a rising high school sophomore, junior, or senior. Rising college freshman are also accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student must be 15 years old by July 1, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The VetCAMP application must be completed and payment must be received by the deadline (see above).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unofficial High School Transcripts must be uploaded into the application in order to submit the application for review.&nbsp; Applications without accurate transcripts received by the application deadline will be considered incomplete and be disqualified from the applicant pool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Information <\/strong><em>*Application Fee is subject to change*<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The VetCAMP application fee is $28.00 per week that the student applies to be considered for.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will complete one application and mark the weeks that they want to be considered for in the application. The application will calculate the payment accordingly.&nbsp;<strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong> Virtual VetCAMP is offered to <strong>ALL<\/strong> denied applicants for In-Person VetCAMP. If you apply for <strong>ANY<\/strong> week of In-Person VetCAMP, <strong>DO NOT<\/strong> &nbsp;select the Virtual Week on your VetCAMP Application. <strong>ONLY<\/strong> select Virtual VetCAMP if you are <strong>ONLY<\/strong> applying for Virtual VetCAMP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note that students can only be selected for 1 week of VetCAMP, but applicants that apply to more than 1 week have a greater chance of being accepted as they are applying to be considered for 1 of 80 spots (both weeks) as opposed to 1 of 40 spots (1 week).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending Virtual VetCAMP does not disqualify students from attending future in-person VetCAMP sessions, and can strengthen future applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All fields containing an asterisk must be completed and cannot be left blank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The entire process can take upwards of 30-45 minutes to complete as you will be asked questions about your personal information, academic information, extracurricular information, and required to provide short essays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application uses a <em>character limit <\/em>that counts the total number of spaces, letters, numbers, and symbols. This is significantly shorter than a word limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Refund Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Fee<\/strong><br>The VetCAMP application fee is<strong> nonrefundable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Camp Registration Fee<\/strong><br>Campers invited to VetCAMP after the application deadline will receive an email invitation to VetCAMP along with a registration link. VetCAMP registration fees can only be refunded up to <strong>May 21st<\/strong>.
