Each student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is paired with a personal advisor. If there is not an advisor listed on your Degree Audit, or you wish to change advisors, contact the Advising Coordinator in your department. Not sure who to contact? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and you will receive a response within 24 hours.
CALS Advising Team
Visit us in the Academic Programs Office (111 Patterson Hall) during our walk-in hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, to ask questions or schedule an advising appointment.
As the Coordinator of Recruiting and First Year Experiences, I lead the CALS Ambassador Program, visitation days, recruiting events, orientation, Wolfpack Welcome Week, and ALS 103 and 303. I help with academic policy interpretation and serve on many committees across the University. Although I am very busy, I am never too busy to talk to you. Pop in 111 Patterson Hall anytime during walk-in hours to say hello, ask a question, or arrange an advising appointment. Contact me at 919-515-2614 or email@example.com.
As an Academic Advisor for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, I believe in fostering the development of the whole student. In my role, I advise undergraduate students, teach ALS 103 and 303, and help plan and implement recruiting events and programs. I find great reward in helping undergraduate students navigate NC State University, identify and pursue their academic and career interests and reach their educational goals. Contact me at 919-515-2614 and firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am an Academic Advisor, instructor for ALS 103 and 303, and coordinator of the STEAM program. CALS students are remarkable in their work ethic and passion for agriculture and the life sciences. I enjoy challenging them to accomplish things they thought they couldn’t and seeing them succeed. Contact me at 919-515-261 and email@example.com.
NC State has a resource office for parents too. Contact Parent & Family Services at 877-568-5733 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
