Tom Frost

Bio

Dr. Frost is a native of Flagstaff, Arizona. He received his bachelors and masters degrees in animal science from Brigham Young University; and his PhD in poultry nutrition from Auburn University. Previously, he worked 13 years as Director of Nutrition with Gold Kist working with both swine and broilers. He spent 12 years as Director of Nutrition & Research at Wayne Farms LLC. He joined DSM Nutritional Products in 2016 as Director of Innovation & Application in North America. In 2021 he transitioned to the role of Global Director of Verax Markets at DSM-firmenich. In addition, he was a PAACO certified animal welfare auditor and has previously served on the animal welfare councils of KFC and Wendy’s International. He served on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association from 2020 to 2023. In this organization he has also served 17 years on the Foundation Research Advisory Committee, including several years as Vice Chairman. Dr. Frost is a Diplomate of the American College of Animal Sciences, Animal Nutrition Discipline with the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS).
