Cultivating Curiosity and the Next Generation of Plant Scientists

Terri Long and Anna Stepanova are part of a national effort to attract the next generation of plant scientists and to highlight the importance of plants and their contributions to our lives.

Dr. Jenny Xiang is selected as a Distinguished Fellow of the Botanical Society of America

Dr. Jenny Xiang is selected as a Distinguished Fellow of the Botanical Society of America (BSA). This is the highest honor awarded by the BSA, and is reflective of Dr. Xiang impressive work, her contributions to the BSA and her effort to foster international collaborations.

Plants In Space

Last week, SpaceX-22 was launched into space transporting scientific research projects to the International Space Station, including several plant biology experiments whose roots can be traced back to PMB! Learn more about the PMB scientists and their research that is currently underway in space!

Jill Barber graduated from NC State in 2014 with a B.S. degree in Plant Biology. Now, Jill works in the Cultivation Department at Pure Ohio Wellness, growing legal medical marijuana. Learn more about what she has been doing since graduation!
