The Master of Microbial Biotechnology is a Professional Science Master’s at NC State University. It is a unique, two-year, non-thesis degree that combines graduate training in science and business through coursework, industry practicum projects, and internships.

MMB Students:

• Build a portfolio of experiences through industry practicum projects at start-up, pharma, medical device, ag and industrial biotech companies
• Add to their resumes while earning an interdisciplinary graduate degree
• Develop a network of industry professionals
• Refine their professional skills
