Candy Orr Honored for Leadership in Agricultural Health and Safety

Candy Orr has devoted her 24-year career to ensuring the safety and well-being of those she works with. She was recognized for her safety leadership with an award from NC State and Eastman Chemical Company.

North Carolina Cooperative Extension and the NC Agromedicine Institute are among the organizations that will observe National Farm Safety and Health Week from Sept. 20 to 26. The theme for 2015 is “Ag Safety is not just a slogan, it’s a lifestyle.”
