Register Now for Carolina Meat Conference

The fifth annual Carolina Meat Conference, the country’s largest gathering of makers of pastured meat, will take place Sept. 25 and 26 at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem. The event brings together farmers, chefs, butchers and industry leaders for two days of networking, hands-on training and technical and business assistance.
Organized by NC Choices, the conference supports a growing community committed to advancing market opportunities and increasing customer access to pasture-based meats.
Among the conference speakers will be Loren Cordain, the author of the New York Times’ best-seller The Paleo Diet, and Urvashi Rangan, a scientific investigator focused on policy analysis and risk-benefit communication around food safety and sustainability. Attendees can also expect class sessions on diverse topics, butchery demonstrations and special technical tracks for professionals.
Conference registration is now open. For details, see http://www.carolinameatconference.com/2017
