Special Specialist Awards
County Extension professionals are encouraged to help by recognizing Extension specialists who are most responsive to county needs by nominating a specialist from N.C. State or N.C. A&T State for the Special Specialist Award.

Please take time to honor an Extension specialist who goes the extra mile to work with county Extension offices. County field faculty and staff are asked to write a one-page nomination for a “special specialist,” explaining how the specialist has helped support county programs. The letter along with a nomination form must be completed and sent to the NCACES Awards Committee, above, no later than April 30.

Outstanding Subject Matter Program (Individual or Team) Award
NCACES members are invited to nominate individuals or teams that have developed Outstanding Subject Matter Programs. NCACES Extension Education Awards recognize members of the North Carolina Association of Cooperative Extension Specialists who develop and deliver outstanding Extension Education Programs. Specific program components may include staff development activities, demonstrations, tours, displays, videos, software programs, special publications or other innovative delivery methods.

Thank you for taking the time to recognize outstanding Extension specialists!
