Hunger, Obesity and Nutrition Education Experts

North Carolina Cooperative Extension is the go-to source for educational programs helping people make good choices about nutrition and physical activity. Our extension educators reach all ages, from preschoolers to seniors, in all 100 North Carolina counties. Their local foods initiatives help connect consumers who need fruits, vegetables and other foods with local farmers who need the income. Extension also works to end hunger by helping families learn food buying, preparation and storage strategies to stretch their food dollars.
