“In the Garden with Bryce Lane” returns for its eighth season on WUNC-TV at noon on Saturday Sept. 11. The 30-minute show, hosted by N.C. State University’s Bryce Lane, introduces viewers to the science behind gardening. Lane gives viewers an inside look at the nationally acclaimed J.C. Raulston Arboretum, various garden centers and his very own garden. He also shows how to identify sick or diseased plants and explains what to do to bring them back to life.
Lane is an instructor in the Horticultural Science department at N.C. State University. This season he travels the Carolinas — from Bahama, N.C., to South Carolina’s lowcountry and all points in between. The show airs at noon on Saturdays and repeats at 11:30 a.m. Sundays.
