Calling all CALS faculty, staff, students and alumni!

You’re invited to a CALS Delegation Ice Cream Social, Sept.22, on the Brickyard near Bostian Hall, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The social is hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ delegation of student senators in the N.C. State University Student Government.

“This event was organized to create more unity within our College,” said Harrison Do, a student senator and CALS senior in biological sciences, who is co-chairman of the event. “We hope that the Ice Cream Social will encourage more dialogue among CALS faculty, staff, students and alumni.”

Do also sees the party as an opportunity for the College family to meet its student senators.

“We would like to know what you would like Student Government to focus on and how your student senators can help you,” he said. “We have invited various organizations that provide support and resources for CALS students. These organizations have reserved tables at the event and look forward to talking with students.”

All students must swipe their student ID cards to enter the event.
