North Carolina Cooperative Extension is planning a two-day Women in Agritourism workshop March 6-7. The goal is to provide an opportunity to meet other women operators from across the state, to discuss issues and ideas and to build a statewide network of support, fellowship and education. The deadline to apply is Dec. 15.
The agenda will include two guest speakers who will address good businesses practices for agritourism operations and tax planning. The workshop takes place at the Caraway Conference Center in Randolph County. There is a $35 registration fee, due later. Lodging and other conference costs are covered by Cooperative Extension.
To ensure a broad representation of operators from across North Carolina, all interested women are required to complete an application. Follow this link to apply: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FSMYYVQ.
