Graduate Student Resources

We are committed to the success of every single one of our students. Below are a few resources that may be helpful. As always, feel free to reach out to your professors and mentors for anything you need.

Biochemistry Graduate Student Association

The Biochemistry Graduate Student Association (GSA) creates networking opportunities for graduate students with each other, with other members of the department, with other graduate students at NC State, and with scholars outside of the university such as visiting seminar speakers.

Functions

  • Serve as a connection to University Graduate Student Association (UGSA)
  • Organize networking activities such as lunch with external seminar speakers
  • Develop scientific outreach activities
  • Coordinate social activities such as graduate student recruitment weekends
