After closely monitoring the situation related to COVID-19 on our respective campuses and across the state, as well as compiling employee feedback and considering all options, we have decided to conduct the 2021 N.C. Cooperative Extension State Conference as a virtual event.<\/p>\n
While we aimed to bring everyone together in person after a difficult 18 months, we value your health and well-being above all. Given the trends and recommendations, it\u2019s not worth the risk.<\/p>\n
Extension State Conference will take place via virtual format October 25-27 \u2013 still hold those dates.<\/p>\n
One positive development from the past year has been our use of new technology. We have the means to connect in meaningful ways while at a distance, and we intend to take full advantage to provide you with a robust slate of sessions and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n
Rest assured, many of your colleagues from our campuses and the counties are working hard to deliver an engaging, enriching and valuable program for everyone. The show will go on!<\/p>\n
