The 2019 program is targeted for equipment or infrastructural enhancements. Faculty, research station personnel, field lab personnel or CALS Research Office staff may apply.<\/p>\n<p>It is anticipated that a total of up to $4,100 will be distributed as one award. Funds will be available in early May 2019 and should be spent by Dec. 31, 2019<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for 2019 proposals is March 29, 2016, 11:59 PM EST<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal Format:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will submit your proposal through InfoReady Review. https:\/\/ncsu.infoready4.com<\/p>\n<p>The following information will be requested<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0Project Title<\/li>\n<li>PI and Co-PI name(s) and contact information<\/li>\n<li>Field Lab(s) or Research Station(s) on which the enhancements will be made<\/li>\n<li>Project Start and End Dates \u2013 Must be between May 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Total Requested Funds<\/li>\n<li>Matching Funds (not required)<\/li>\n<li>Project description (Should not exceed one page. This information will be required via a textbox, but it is recommended you type it in a Word Document prior to submitting and then copy and paste the information into a textbox)\u00a0Problem\/project summary\n<ul>\n<li>Information about the specific equipment\/enhancements requested<\/li>\n<li>Research activities or station operations to be enabled<\/li>\n<li>Relationships with other current or planned program initiatives<\/li>\n<li>How the project will improve efficiencies or improve competitiveness for future extramural grant.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Partners to be included and their contribution and involvement in the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The following information may be attached to the proposal, but are not required<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Quote for equipment and\/or services<\/li>\n<li>Brief description and letter of commitment of any matching funds (if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Proposals do not need to be approved by the Office of Sponsored Programs.
