Donating Laboratory Supplies and Personal Protective Apparel

NC State belltower

COVID-19 impact on the healthcare industry is taxing all resources, from personal protection to life sustaining machines. A number of partner agencies and medical facilities are requesting donations of supplies, and we understand and appreciate that many departments and units at NC State would like to respond.

Before replying to requests or otherwise sending materials off campus, please contact Emergency Management and Mission Continuity so we can assist with the response and related logistics. With a concerted effort, we can best coordinate and respond to community needs.

For email submissions – Amy Orders aborders@ncsu.edu or ncstateemmc@ncsu.edu

COVID-19 Related Materials, Equipment and Production

Many departments have resources and equipment necessary to make some of the PPE supplies that are needed across the country. While NC State encourages the campus community to do all we can to support COVID-19 related efforts, research exception requests need to be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) before new agreements are made or production begins. To submit an exception, please use this form.

ORI can help provide important guidance about procuring new or additional materials for production, personnel and operations impacts, federal and state regulations, and legal considerations. For more information, visit the https://research.ncsu.edu/coronavirus/.
