Turfgrass Trends for Changing Times

There is no doubt that the turfgrass industry is facing many challenges in terms of changes in climate, regulations, pest populations and technology.

On December 6, three keynote speakers will discuss these challenges and how the industry is positioning itself to overcome them. These speakers, which have been chosen to represent a broad range of disciplines, are: Lane Tredway, Senior Technical Representative from Syngenta; Casey Reynolds, Executive Director of Turfgrass Producers International; and Vance Crowe, Director of Millennial Engagement from Bayer.

In the afternoon, graduate students associated with the Center for Turfgrass Environmental Research and Education at North Carolina State University will present research they have conducted that addresses some of the issues mentioned.

The symposium, which starts at 8 a.m. at the NC State University Club, will be streamed live online for those unable to attend in person. It is free of charge and open for all, but registration is required for both the in-person event and the livestream.
