Save the Date for NC State University’s Emerging Research Showcase for the NSF Center for Integrated Pest Management on Wednesday September 15, 2021, starting at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
This is your opportunity to build a connection with CIPM researchers, to develop new strategies, analytics and decision support systems to advance IPM and plant biosecurity. We serve and partner with government, industry, and university stakeholders locally, nationally, and internationally.
We’ll start this hybrid (in person/virtual) event with a welcome from Dr. Steve Lommel, Associate Dean for Research in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. After the welcome, Dr. Susanne Kjemtrup, Principal at Phyta BioTech Consulting, LLC, will moderate a panel discussion about the value of research collaboration. Our panelists are confirmed, and we look forward to sharing their names shortly. CIPM research presentations will follow the panel discussion. We hope you will stay with us at 5:00 for optional networking on the terrace.

The Showcase series gives you the opportunity to hear new research partnership opportunities. Productive outcomes from the events include but are not limited to: philanthropic support, sponsored research, defining commercialization potential, or adding an external research partner to the team.
