Accelerated Family Life Coaching Course

Course Description

This 30 hour CEU is a fully distance education course that prepares family and youth practitioners to meet the growing demands of families by examining family life coaching as a vital service that helps families and youth to reach goals and achieve happiness. This course focuses on improving familial relationships through coaching. We will explore theoretical and empirical literature in coaching and examine the implications for practice with families.

BCC Approved

This 30 hour course is approved by the Center for Credentialing and Education Board Certified Coach and fulfills the training requirement for the BCC credential for current master’s level family life professionals.

Class Sessions

Synchronous

10 hours of live class meetings, two hours each week for a total of 5 weeks using the web conference technology Zoom.

Asynchronous

Students are expected to complete 10 hours of peer coaching, 5 hours of solo family life coaching practice, and 5 hours of reading.

Additional Information & Registration

Early bird registration fee of $600 applies through September 30th. Regular registration fee of $1,000 applies on and after October 1st. $100 for Extension &
NC State employees.
