New Opportunity for Interested Food Tasters

Are you interested in becoming a trained food taster? If yes, this may be a fascinating opportunity for you!

Flyer with same info as postWe are doing research funded by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) on developing preservative-free pickled vegetables in response to consumer demands. To assess the appearance, taste, texture, aroma, etc., we are looking for volunteers who are interested in evaluating raw and pickled vegetables. You need not worry if you do not have previous experience, as we will be training you on descriptive sensory analysis.

If you take part in this research, you will be awarded a Certificate of Experience for serving as a ‘Trained Descriptive Sensory Panelist’ from the USDA-ARS Food Science Research Unit Raleigh NC. Additionally, we are also excited to send you two $25 gift cards, food treats and special goodies frequently during the research!

Anyone above the age of 18 is welcome to participate. Please take the screening test. It is a simple questionnaire that will take 10 minutes to complete.
