Dean’s Enrichment Grant 2017-2018

faculty and students working in lab

I am pleased to announce the fifth annual call for the highly successful CALS Dean’s Enrichment Grant Program.  To date, we have seeded nearly fifty innovative projects across all CALS departments through this interdisciplinary focused grants program.

Here is the Request for Proposal.

As a College, we are committed to the development of interdisciplinary teams, integrating the land-grant missions (research, teaching, and Extension), and forming important collaborations with our partners on and off campus.  The RFP is one example of how we are fulfilling this mission and achieving the strategic goals of our college.

In response to on-going as well as new needs identified by faculty over the past year, I have expanded this year’s Dean’s Enrichment Grant Program to six funding categories, including two new programs.  I am also very pleased to be partnering once again with our colleagues in the College of Veterinary Medicine through the CALS/CVM Strategic Collaborative Grant Program.  Please pay attention to specific eligibility, budget, and review criteria for each funding category.

There is no requirement for a Letter of Intent (LOI) this year.  Full proposals are due by Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  Like last year, this year’s proposals will be submitted through InfoReady Review, the university’s internal grant management system.  When logging into InfoReady Review, please use your unity ID, not your alias email which usually includes your full name.

If you have any questions, please contact Christy Sandy (clsandy@ncsu.edu), David Monks (david_monks@ncsu.edu), or Becky Boston (boston@ncsu.edu) in the NCARS office (919-515-2717).

Go Pack!
