CALS Proud I – Bringing Your Best Self to Work

You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming CALS Proud I program, “Bringing Your Best Self to Work” scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room 4280 Talley Student Union. The focus of this one-day program is to provide our new employees with strategies for promoting and sustaining a positive work environment as well as a “True Colors” assessment that will help each participant identify their strengths. We will also discuss what it means to be a part of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences as well as provide you with information on how to continue your professional development.

The workshop is free and includes both a morning break service and lunch. You must REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT BY Friday, October 19, 2018 as we will be providing you with a short book to read entitled, “The Energy Bus.”  SEATING IS LIMITED, so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have a wait list, and confirmation of your registration will be emailed to you by Friday, October 26, 2018. For our new colleagues who are located outside of Raleigh and are traveling less than 150 miles, please submit your travel reimbursements via the normal procedures. For those new Extension and Research Station and Field Lab employees who are located more than 150 miles from Raleigh, Dr. Rich Bonanno and Dr. Steve Lommel have agreed to pay for one night’s accommodation. Please make your travel arrangements and submit your travel reimbursements via the normal procedures.
