NC State’s Department of Risk Assessment have listened to your feedback and are now offering free online training on Workplace Violence Prevention for Managers and Supervisors to meet the biennial training requirement as mandated in the Campus/Workplace Violence Prevention Regulation.

Description: Safety is a community responsibility. According to the Campus/Workplace Violence Prevention Regulation all supervisors and managers are required to attend workplace violence prevention training. As a manager or leader, you are committed to a work environment free from violence and threats of violence. Workplace violence can present itself in many different forms, such as written, spoken, or even physical contact.

Workplace violence in any form is unacceptable. It’s important you take every reasonable precaution to keep your workplace safe. This training will provide information to assist in helping faculty and staff to identify concerns and recognize who to report concerns and the value of early intervention.
