Day-long Online ‘Beginner’ BEES School

Have you missed your beekeeping club’s beginner bee school or would like a refresher to better understand your bees? Here is an option for you.
Along with other participants, you will review Dr. Tarpy’s online material for new beekeepers on Zoom. Three main courses Basic honey bee biology and life history, Introduction to beekeeping and hive management, and Importance of bees and beekeeping to society will be covered. They consist of 15 lectures with slides and recordings. Dr. Tarpy will appear live in between each lecture to to go over any material that needs more explanation and to answer questions. 9:00 am – 5:15 pm with breaks.
