The R&D team of Crop Science, A Division of Bayer invites graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to our 3rd annual Research Symposium. The event will be held at our Bayer Crop Science LP Headquarters at 2 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The purpose of this Symposium is to open our doors to talented researchers and budding professionals who are eager to learn more about our company as well as share their research efforts with us. At this day- long symposium, you will have the opportunity to network with Bayer professionals and tour our research facilities, including our North American Bee Care Center and state–of-the-art greenhouses. In addition, the symposium will include a poster session where you will highlight your innovative research and directly interact with scientists and specialists from our Crop Science Division of Bayer. Poster awards will be administered to the most innovative research as determined by a panel of BCS scientists. We will provide lunch during the event but poster preparation and travel cost will be the responsibility of the participant.

We will provide materials needed to display posters on the day of the event. Poster dimensions should be no larger than 48″ x 48″ and will be affixed to display boards which we will provide the day of the event.

We encourage all graduate students and postdocs in the field of life sciences to apply. The submission deadline is June 30, 2017. Applicants will be selected on a competitive basis. The selection results will be announced via email no later than July 31, 2017. Selected applicants will receive an official invitation letter including program details and venue information.
