The CALS International Programs presented two posters highlighting the Research Pack Abroad program and the ongoing collaboration with Bosnia and Herzegovina.   Former undergraduate student, Jasmeen Kaur, and current undergraduate student, Kirby Morris, presented their research they conducted at the Instituto de Productos Lácteos de Asturias during their two months of international research as part of the Research Pack Abroad program in the summer of 2018.

CALS International Programs also presented the poster “Creating Resilient Agricultural Systems through Customized International Training Programs: Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which highlighted the ongoing collaboration that started with a Global Academy customized training program.  This training program allowed for the connection between NC State researchers and the Bosnian Ministry of Agriculture to help address resilient agricultural issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Stay tuned for more information about this blossoming collaboration.

CALS is dedicated to international education, research and extension; through the Global Engagement Exposition, those leading the way are celebrated.  Congratulations to the CALS nominees and award recipients, as well as all the nominees and award recipients!
