A webinar on deciphering meat label claims – what is most important to know and what does it mean for the end consumer. Regarding meats, there are questions related to animal welfare, what the animals were fed, environmental impacts, food safety and consistent availability among others, which can be challenging to navigate given the number of claims associated with these products. Gaston Cooperative extension will address these labels and what they actually meant.
