EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Mason Pharr symposium will discuss this transformative era in horticultural production, shaped by regulatory shifts, legal challenges, and changing consumer priorities.<\/strong> Even before the 2024 election, big changes were in store for the agencies that govern horticultural production in the United States. Continuous reauthorization of the 2018 Farm Bill, court challenges to USDA and EPA, and high inflation were already poised to impact producers, consumers, and researchers. Horticulture is entering a new era of regulatory and economic uncertainty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The event will be held in Kilgore Hall<\/a> <\/strong>on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants can attend as many or as few sessions as interest them. Breakfast will be catered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
