North Carolina Cooperative Extension’s Franklin County Horse Tour has been an annual tradition for 21 years now, bringing together local horse owners to gain knowledge and insight by visiting local horse farms. They’ll take in everything from elderly horse care to tips for building a barn. It’s a full day of learning, and there is a unique interaction between the speakers and participants. With over 6,000 horses across the county, Franklin County has a strong equine industry.<\/p>\n
