The student and advisor design an individual course of study based on the student&#8217;s personal and professional goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A high school diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete 6 hours (2 courses) of foundational horticultural coursework and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select 9 hours (3-4 courses) from a list of electives where the student may choose to specialize or maintain a general focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the coursework will be available as distance education courses.
