Former NC State Extension responsibilities in the areas of 4-H and Youth. Develop slide sets and publications on 4-H and horticultural topics, and agent in-service training sessions. Conduct monthly orientation sessions for new agents, edit and format horticulture information leaflets (HILs), as well as load leaflets on the Internet. Coordinate 4-H District Activity Days and State 4-H Congress on an annual basis. Serve as State Program Leader for the National Junior Horticultural Association. Coordinate the Master Composter Program and train agents in composting subject matter.
