Keeping Food and the Public Safe

We work closely with industry in North Carolina around the nation to improve health and well-being through research, extension education and outreach regarding food, food safety and food processing.

Faculty, staff and industry partners dedicate their time and expertise to develop and deliver professional training programs for management, technical personnel, and workers in the food industry. We offer several courses to fit the busy schedules of industry professionals that cover various aspects of food safety, including our online courses for the HACCP and Food Safety Certification programs, workshops and customized training.
