Let's celebrate the start of GIS Week at NC State in the newly renovated Natural Resources Library in Jordan Hall. The kickoff event is a great opportunity to grab food, network and learn more about the events planned for the week.

GIS Week is an accessible learning and professional development event series centered around geospatial analytics and spatial data science. Drawing inspiration from NC State's motto "Think and Do," GIS Week connects researchers, practitioners and industry partners across varying sectors and disciplines.

UAS Drone Workshop

James B. Hunt Jr. Library, Creativity Studio

Come learn the basics of collecting and processing unmanned aerial systems drone data during an in-class lecture and field demonstration led by an ASPRS-certified UAS mapping scientist. The in-class lecture will be at Hunt Library, and the field demonstration will be at Dorothea Dix Park. Transportation to the park will be provided. Registration is required.…
