Winter Management Series
January 23, 2018 | 9:30 am - 3:00 pm EST
An event every day that begins at 9:30 am, repeating until January 24, 2018
Farm operators need to better understand how professional governance structures and best financial management practices combine to set the foundation to sustain and optimize their farm businesses. The 2018 Winter Management Series, sponsored by NC Dairy Producers Association, the NC Association of Farm Credits and the Professional Dairy Producers Foundation, is a 1-day farm business management seminar scheduled at two convenient locations on January 23 & 24, 2018.
About the Seminar:
This course provides a fast paced overview of core family business governance, human resource and financial elements that need to be codified and mastered in a professionally managed family farm business. The workshop will allow participants to take inventory of where they are in their implementation journey, define consequences of not having structure in place, and benefits to the business from adoption of better practices. The workshop will combine a formal presentation along with case study experiences to give participants a clear pathway for putting principles into practice when they return to their farms.
