Rethinking Our Food Systems for Food and Nutrition Security

Kropff was the systems agronomist at the International Rice Research Institute from 1990-1995. In 1995 he began service in a succession of roles at Wageningen University and Research Center in the Netherlands, including Director General of the Plant Sciences Group. In 2015, Kropff joined CIMMYT as Director General.
