NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers at the Southern Ideal Home Show September 20-22

NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Wake County will be on stage and hosting an information booth at the Southern Ideal Home show in Raleigh September 20-22. The presentations are on the Fresh Ideas Stage in the Jim Graham building at the NC State Fairgrounds.
On Friday September 20 at 12pm Angela Griffin will be speaking on “Growing a Healthy Lawn in the Piedmont” and at 3pm Cindy Chappell will be speaking on “Bulbs for Year Round Flowers”
On Saturday September 21 at 3pm Cindy Chappell will be speaking on “Flowers for All 4 Seasons”.
Angela Griffin will be giving her presentation on “ Growing a Healthy Lawn” again on Sunday at 2pm.
When visiting the show, be sure to stop by our booth, #927, to meet our volunteers, learn about gardening and pick up some information sheets on native plants, lawns, plant selection, growing vegetables, gardening with wildlife, attracting butterflies and other pollinators. NC soil test kits will also be available. The NC State Extension Master Gardener booth is # 927 in the Jim Graham building at the NC State Fairgrounds.
The show runs 10 am-8 pm on Friday; 10am-8pm on Saturday and 11am-6 pm on Sunday.
