Learn Night Photography Techniques at Moonlight in the Garden
During Moonlight in the Garden, the JC Raulston Arboretum is decorated with an elaborate design of garden lighting that beautifully highlights the garden’s key botanical features. It is a magical time to visit the gardens, but it can be challenging to capture in a photograph if you are not used to nighttime photography.
Join photographer Mary Louise for a special photo session that will begin in a classroom, where Louise will explain the key equipment and techniques she uses to capture the illuminated garden. The class will transition to the gardens to practice these techniques with Louise’s guidance. Participants are welcome to continue to photograph and enjoy the gardens until 8 p.m. The fee for the photography class includes the entrance fee for the Moonlight in the Garden event.
