RESPONSE TO THIS EVENT HAS BEEN OVERWHELMING SO WE TURNED IT INTO A SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOUR. ARRIVE BETWEEN 4:30 AND 7:00 AND WE WILL SHUTTLE YOU OUT TO THE FIELDS WHERE YOU CAN WALK AROUND THE HOPS AND HEMP PLOTS AND TALK TO THE RESEARCHERS AT YOUR OWN PACE. THEN GET BACK ON THE SHUTTLE AND RETURN TO YOUR CAR/TRUCK AT YOUR LEISURE. PLEASE TRY TO SPACE YOURSELVES OUT SO WE DON’T HAVE EVERYONE HERE AT ONCE! OUR SHUTTLES CAN ONLY TRANSPORT 50 PEOPLE AT A TIME. THE LAST RIDE OUT WILL BE AT 7 PM. WE WILL TRY TO FINISH UP AROUND 7:30. PLAN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR TO SEE EVERYTHING.

Join us for this late afternoon to an early evening tour of the research we are doing on hops and CBD hemp. You will have the opportunity to visit the hop variety trial, which is now eight years old, and discuss our breeding efforts with our breeder, Dr. Luping Qu. You will see the HopsHarvester PYO driven hops harvester, and if any bines are ready for harvest, we will run them through it (you might see one for hemp soon, too!). We plan to also have posters showing more of the breeding research we have going on in other locations.
