Forages Training Program for Extension Agents, Research Station Personnel and Producers
February 13, 2019 | 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST
A wet fall 2018 not only delayed, and in some cases completely prevented, timely fall-plantings of cool-season annual and perennial forages in North Carolina. In addition, areas that remained flooded for several days resulted in permanently damaged pastures that will require re-establishment, and temporarily damaged pastures that may need extra care to recover to its full potential.
These training sessions focus on management strategies for early and late plantings of cool-season forages in NC.
Morning Session (9 am to 1 pm) is for Extension Agents and Research Station personnel only.
Afternoon Session (2 pm to 6 pm) is for Producers and Land Managers only.
Registration is free but required. More information can be found at forages.ces.ncsu.edu.
